We direct this message to you as a way of saying thank you for supporting our kitchen in the toughest of times. None-the-less we take the opportunity to keep creating and reimagining our classes in the best possible way.
Due to the current circumstances we’ve postponed some of our events at Atelier. This is why we encourage you to follow our social media pages on Instagram (@atelier_ca) and Facebook (@Atelier, Cocina Abierta) to keep up with the changes in calendar, and benefit from some of our daily specials. Nevertheless, we will continue to send e-notifications with our new dates and events.
The Atelier at Cocina Abierta is an interactive space for the development and enjoyment of what we love: Food, Wine and Spirits. Experience Atelier, the meeting point where the culinary enthusiasts come together to explore the world through it’s gastronomy. More than a school, it’s a laboratory of culinary ideas, an open kitchen that shares its secrets without limitation because we enjoy to cook.
Options for everyone. An “all you can eat” style brunch on Sundays. Brunch Buffet, a one of a kind brunch experience.

Our classes provide an authentic “hands on” cooking worldwide experience, they are sure to be an unforgettable highlight of your vacation or part of your local entertaining options.
Classes are generally 2 hours long and include: top professional private chef, tastings of prepared dishes, a welcome cocktail from our private bar, student apron, educational literature, top of the line cooking equipment and ingredients.
This space allows to break the routine meetings, product launches, press conferences, among others. It’s recommended for companies of any sector and magnitude, ideal for effective and memorable meetings.
Classes are offered in a space specially designed to inspire and emulate a home industrial kitchen, fully equipped with top quality appliances and utensils.
Looking for a team building event that combines cooking with communication, skill building and critical thinking? Our Culinary Challenges are slightly shorter team building cooking classes that economize on time but pack in all the cooking skills and fun! Guests are divided into teams that work together to create their culinary masterpieces. And, of course, once the cooking is finished everyone is invited to sit down, relax, and enjoy their culinary creations.
They are designed for all levels of those that want to learn more about spirits, how they mix with each other and other ingredients, and how great they taste when combined the way they were meant to be.
Take your knowledge of wine to the next level with a variety of wine classes that teach the basics of tastings and different wine regions of the world. Class includes expert instruction by a Sommelier and educational materials.
An imaginative dining experience where all the senses are combined through elevated ingredients (local, seasonal, artisanal) and bright flavors to create a superb culinary memory. Includes a custom menu design from 5 to 8 curses with wine or cocktail pairing.
This meeting room sits cozy in the corner, with an open kitchen to your right and a private bar in front.
The room is beautifully designed with a high roof and spacious that holds up to 20 people on an imperial table.
If you’re looking for an intimate setting with great food and unique décor and other amenities to help make your planning process stress-free, step inside for a unique venue that will make your intimate wedding charming and memorable. Max of 40 guests.
This space allows to break the routine when it comes to birthdays celebration, bachelorettes, anniversaries among others.
CHEF & OWNER, CINCOSENTIDOS CULINARY GROUP
Martín has worked in different countries and kitchens around the world. He took specialized courses at the renowned École Lenôtre in Paris, and has also studied under Albert Adrià and Argentinian Chef Gato Dumas, both innovators and pioneers of contemporary and modern cuisine. He also worked with Michelin Guide Star Koldo Royo, and others respected chefs. Since he was very young he showed passion for cooking, and would help his family in the kitchen, and at the same time taught himself by reading books and doing research. Influenced by his travels and experiences, he now manages the creative processes of his Culinary Group Cincosentidos, which group together the restaurants Cocina Abierta, Nonna and Touro. He is currently immersed in the development of the Atelier; a project he holds dear to his heart. In his own words: “it’s more than teaching, it’s the continuing process of learning that inspires me”.
HEAD SOMMELIER, BEVERAGE & SERVICE TRAINING MANAGER, CINCOSENTIDOS
Arturo is an incorrigible surfer, obsessed chess player and a dreamer guitarist. It was in his grandmother’s kitchen where his culinary adventure began. For the past 18 years he has harvested friendships and gained experience in the hospitality industry. His passion for wine, spirits and beverages has led him to become a certified Sommelier by the Court of Master Sommeliers and Certified Specialist of Wine by the Society of Wine Educators.
