What is natural wine? Natural wine is made by artisan growers who farm organically or biodynamically. These small wine producers manually harvest their grapes, ferment with native yeasts and intervene as little as possible in the entire winemaking process. Every day, these growers and their families work their vineyards in harmony with nature, rejecting monoculture, making unique wines, full of life, that speak of the place where the grapes are cared for.

Why drink natural wine? There are over 200 legally permitted additives that can be used when making wine. In this course, as part of the Oriundo philosophy, you will learn how natural, organic and biodynamic wines are made, fermenting lively and healthy grapes.

How can I drink better? In this course you will learn not only how these growers’ vines are tended and their wines are made, but also how to shift the way you buy and consume these wines in Puerto Rico (and the rest of the world!).
